Monday – Arrival day
Depending on the traffic on route, we'll try and stop at the fabulous lake resort town of Annecy.  For the summer trips, there is the option of a swim in the lake, followed by a brief stroll around the town for refreshments.  We'll then leave for the final leg of the journey to La Tania.

On arrival, they'll be chance to briefly unpack and then meet up for supper.  Tri-LaTania staff will formally welcome you and brief you about the local surroundings and the itinerary for the next few days.

Tuesday
Group walk/jog/run of about an hour to get acclimatised, whilst taking in some beautiful scenery.  We'll then carry out a safety check on the bikes and have a gentle downhill ride to the village of Bozel (walk or mini-bus option available).  After a cafe and deli stop for lunch, we'll introduce and coach an optional structured open water swimming session (wet suits will be required for the May & October trips).  We can also arrange for bike/run sets for children and novices around the lake.  Time/weather permitting, we may organise a fun relay aquathon or duathlon.

For the keen cyclist, the day's activities end by completing a shortish climb section of the Tour de France.  The rest of us can monitor their efforts by taking the mini-bus back to the La Tania!

Wednesday
This will be a day trip to Annecy.  The stronger cyclists can follow a quiet road route to Albertville, where we all meet for a cafe stop.  The others can opt to be taken by mini-bus with or without their bikes.  Those that want to join in can do so at any of the pre-arranged meeting points on the route.

This is perhaps the highlight of the week, especially riding on the excellent trafic free cycle path from Ugine all the way to Annecy (55 miles).  At the end of the ride we load the bikes back in to the minibus and head for a cafe in Annecy town centre.

The day ends with an optional swim in Lake Anncey (wetsuits needed for the May and October trips).  Then there is the option of cycling back as far your legs can make it (with mini bus back up)! Or you we can take a snooze in the mini bus and be be taken back to La Tania in time for supper.

Thursday
Two separate bike groups to meet up for lunch in Meribel.  Novices, and some capable children cyclists (under adult supervision), can ride several kms on a quite road.  The route that starts and ends with a smallish climb, but has a nice long flat section in the middle with spectacular views.

The more confident and fitter cyclists can take part in various loops involving some good climbing gradients and steep dog leg descents.

After lunch, both groups link up to cycle back to resort.  For the rest of the afternoon, it will be down to individual choice - either more fitness work or just taking it easy and exploring the local area.

Friday – Airport drop off day
A leisurely morning making our way back to the airport, but with a stop at Annecy for a chance to wander and explore this beautiful town.
