Sunday (Criterium du Dauphine Day - Distance & Route TBC) Great opportunity for the coaches to assess the group and for you to get dialled into riding in a group on some flatter roads, with some climbing and descending coaching to prepare you for the week ahead.
Monday (Courcheval Altiport - *Distance 42km. Climbing +1385m) Descending practice (coached in groups). Coffee in Bozel before we climb up to Courcheval Altiport. Steep at the start with 10% stretches then fluctuates towards the top. Well worth the effort as the views from the top on a clear day are amazing whilst watching planes take off and land at one of the top 5 most dangerous airport in the world. Your first Tour de France Col bagged of the week.
Tuesday (Col de la Madeleine /Les Lacets de Montvernier/Col du Chaussy - *Distance 80km. Climbing +2884m) 3 TDF Cols bagged in one day! 'The Serpent of the Alps' This climb has everything and always splits the field when featured on the TDF. Very hard to find a rhythm with the gradient fluctuating so much 0 even some downhill on the climb. We start the climb from the Moutier side, 24km with a average gradient of 6.2%. We then drop down to magnificent 18 Hairpins of Montvernier (see below), continue to the top of the Col do Chaussy – both featured in TDF 2015. Our ride will start at the bottom of the Madeleine and finish in La Chambre. With a well deserved lift home for all riders!
Wednesday (Relaxing Day) Morning: Bike cleaning and maintenance - coach led and supported by Purple Harry. Flexibility/recovery session. Mentoring groups and 1:1's throughout the day.
Afternoon: Option to have a relaxing swim in crystal clear lakes or local swimming pool, shopping trip or just relax by the chalet in the hot tub whilst enjoying the beautiful view.
Thursday (Col de Tamie & Col de la Forclaz - *Distance 110km. Climbing +1610m) 2 TDF Cols bagged in one day! Col de Tamie (2014 Tour de France) is a short 10km climb averaging 5-6% gradient, we then head for Col de la Forclaz via a smooth and traffic free cycle path. Col de la Forclaz is a short very steep climb of 8km with an average of 8% gradient – tough at the start with stretches of 12- 13% but easier towards the top. Beautiful views from the top looking down on lake Annecy. Cake & paragliding await you at the top after bagging 2 TDF Cols in one day! The descent is well worth all the climbing as we descend back down to the amazing backdrop of Lake Annecy.
Friday (Cormet de Roselend - *Distance 110km. Climbing +2467m) A beautiful enjoyable climb. A very quiet road with cowbells as your background soundtrack and great views of Aiguille du Glacier on this 19 km climb averaging 6-8%. Options are to start at the chalet for riders feeling good and wanting a longer ride descending and riding flatter roads onto Bourg St Maurice or for those that want a little lift and a shorter ride on the last day can start at Bourg St Maurice.
Saturday (Departure day) Leave 10:00am to Geneva.
* We will have at least one support vehicle on all rides and there is an option to make the rides shorter for those that want to start at the bottom of each climb or those that don’t want to climb the hill on the way back home.
Please note: Packed lunches will be transported with the support vehicles on each ride.
Evening meal is scheduled for 19:00pm. We will eat out on the last night and this is not included in the price.

Our team at Tri La Tania recognise that determined female cyclists and triathletes benefit and improve from socialising and training with like-minded individuals and being coached towards their goals. We provide a week’s training holiday in June specifically for just ladies so that you can feel part of supportive, sociable yet competitive environment that you will all thrive on.
Over the past couple of years, the ladies that have joined us have had a range of ability. Some have been seasoned climbers looking to hone their descending skills and enjoy having a support crew, others attempting to climb their first mountain and required gentle guidance and coaching to descend safely and enjoy the experience. We will adapt and cater the week for our group each year.
You will be coached by fully qualified and experienced British Triathlon and British Cycling Professionals (so you will be well looked after), the opportunity to train as a professional is here if you want it.
Equally, it’s your week to enjoy so you can do as much or little of the training as you wish, you will each have different aims/goals for this week so it important that you communicate these goals to the coaches so they can work with you to achieve them.
